Transpersonal Psychotherapy is the applied
side of the most progressive field of
psychology –
Transpersonal
Psychology. It is
oriented towards the body-mind-soul
structure, and its ultimate goal is
achieving internal integration, wholeness
and a full unfolding of personal potential.
In the framework of transpersonal
psychotherapy, the main therapeutic methods
are empirical (experiential), such as
the Holotropic Method which involves altered
states of consciousness and focused body
work. This process is otherwise known as
“Rebirthing.”
Holotropic
Breathwork
is a therapeutic technique, which gives
access to all levels of human experience,
subconsciousness and superconsciousness.
This includes the psychological material
from perinatal (in utero and during labor)
stages, childhood and other biographical
periods, psychological rebirth, and a wide
range of transpersonal (transcending the
personal) experiences. By accessing this
material the method allows resolving the
traumatic/problematic episodes and their
integration into the psyche in a new healthy
way. This process has a unique, curative and
transformative effect on the personality,
within a much shorter time frame than
traditional psychotherapeutic techniques.
Thus, holotropic breathwork is one of
the most powerful methods of therapy and
personal growth,
which can be practiced today.
Holotropic therapy is particularly
well-suited for crisis interventions and
disorders with peak intensities, where
conventional talk therapy is rather
ineffective because of its slow and
uncertain effect. Holotropic therapy has
many
applications:
Highly effective
treatment of:
depression, anxiety, panic disorder,
post-traumatic stress disorder, phobias,
chronic fatigue syndrome, anorexia, bulimia,
psychosomatic disorders, asthma, somatic
symptoms and pain lacking organic cause,
insomnia, functional problems (including
sexual), drug abuse (including tobaccoism,
alcoholism), etc.
Development of:
positive thinking and self-image,
spontaneity and authenticity, a proactive
approach to life, authentic communication,
appreciation and acceptance, psychological
stability and stress reduction, motivation
for work, success and creativity.
rebirthing changes lives.
let it change yours!
